There are several prerequisites before you even consider applying for a position at NODE.

• You must be in college or of college age.
• You must be able to work past midnight on weekday nights.
• You should have your own, reliable transportation. No hitching rides from friends or parents.
• You should be a self starter. Meaning you don't need supervision all the time to get things done.
• You should have a passion for video games, both PC and console games.
• Some technical computer knowledge also helps.
• You should have availability on weekends as well as some weekdays

Who we're not looking for are people who think just because they work here they get free unlimited play time. As a matter of fact, this motivation has been an issue for us and past employees, so we've greatly restricted what sort of time compensation is given to our employees. For the sake of arguement, just assume that if you work at NODE, you don't get any free time. We want people here that appreciate the gaming culture and community, as well as understanding what NODE is really about, which is to nurture that community.

You're probably asking "Well, if I don't get free time, what other reasons are there to work at NODE?". For starters, its NODE. If you've ever been here, you know what it's like. Laid back and friendly and constantly surrounded by video games. We here at NODE are a happy bunch, and it beats working at the GAP or Best Buy.
